This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Bazaarindia Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India and having its registered office at Hari Krupa HIG-B 483, 1st Stage Lakshmikanthnagar, Hebbal Layout, Mysore, Karnataka, 570016 (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects personal information of riders and delivery partners using the BazaarNow - Delivery Partner App (“Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy, the Rider Agreement, Terms of Service, Intellectual Property Protection Terms, and Goods Protection Terms.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1.1 Rider Information
We may collect the following information from riders and onboarding applicants:
- Full name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Government-issued identity documents
- Selfie and profile photographs
- Vehicle information
- Bank account and payment details
- Delivery and operational information
- Communications with support teams
1.2 Background Location Information
With your consent, BazaarNow - Delivery Partner App may collect precise and background location information, including when the application is closed or not actively in use, for:
- Live order tracking
- Delivery verification
- Route optimization
- Order assignment
- Fraud prevention and detection
- Safety and operational monitoring
- Customer order visibility
Disabling background location access may affect the functionality of the application and may prevent riders from receiving or completing orders.
1.3 Camera and File Permissions
The Platform may request access to camera, photos, media, and files for:
- Selfie verification
- KYC document uploads
- Identity verification
- Proof of delivery uploads
- Incident reporting
BazaarNow only accesses files selected by the rider and does not access unrelated personal files or media.
1.4 Notification Permissions
Notifications may be used to send riders operational and transactional alerts including:
- Assigned delivery orders
- Order updates and status changes
- OTP verification
- Payment and incentive updates
- Operational announcements
- Security alerts
1.5 Physical Activity Permission
Physical activity recognition may be used to improve location accuracy, delivery movement tracking, and operational reliability during active deliveries.
1.6 Device and Technical Information
When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Device type and operating system
- Application usage data
- Crash reports and diagnostics
- Device identifiers
- Session timestamps and activity logs
2. PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION
We collect and use rider information for purposes including:
- Rider onboarding and account verification
- Order assignment and fulfilment
- Delivery tracking and proof of delivery
- Fraud detection and prevention
- Customer support and dispute resolution
- Payment processing and incentives
- Operational analytics and performance monitoring

3. BATTERY OPTIMIZATION
BazaarNow may request riders to disable battery optimization settings for reliable app functionality including:
- Continuous background location tracking
- Real-time order synchronization
- Prevention of missed delivery requests
- Reliable operational updates
Restricting background activity or enabling aggressive battery optimization settings may impact app performance and delivery operations.
4. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We may share rider information on a need-to-know basis with:
- Customers during active deliveries
- Store and vendor partners
- Payment gateways and financial institutions
- KYC and identity verification providers
- Technology and cloud infrastructure providers
- Government or regulatory authorities where required by law
- Law enforcement agencies
BazaarNow does not sell rider personal information to third parties for independent marketing purposes.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
All tangible and intangible assets associated with BazaarNow including software, operational systems, branding, workflows, training materials, customer data, vendor data, pricing systems, and trade secrets remain the exclusive property of the Company.
Riders agree not to:
- Copy, distribute, or misuse company materials
- Reverse engineer the application or systems
- Disclose confidential operational information
- Misuse customer or vendor information
- Use BazaarNow branding without authorization
6. GOODS PROTECTION AND LIABILITY
Riders are responsible for ensuring the safe handling and delivery of goods entrusted to them.
Riders shall not:
- Tamper with products or packaging
- Steal or misuse delivery goods
- Substitute products without authorization
- Engage in fake delivery practices
BazaarNow reserves the right to recover losses, suspend accounts, and initiate legal proceedings in cases involving fraud, negligence, theft, or misconduct.
7. ANTI-FRAUD AND MONITORING
BazaarNow may monitor rider activity and device integrity to detect and prevent:
- GPS spoofing or fake location activity
- Fraudulent incentives or fake deliveries
- Unauthorized automation or emulator usage
- Use of rooted or modified devices
- Operational abuse or policy violations
8. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard rider information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
9. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION POLICY
9.1 Onboarding Applicant Data
If an applicant begins the onboarding process but does not complete onboarding or remains inactive, the submitted onboarding application data may be deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
9.2 Active Rider Data
Once an applicant is onboarded and becomes an active rider, their information may be retained for operational, legal, accounting, taxation, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes.
Riders may request deletion of their account and associated personal information by contacting their assigned Store Manager or by contacting BazaarNow through the official support channels.
Certain information may continue to be retained where required under applicable laws, dispute resolution requirements, fraud prevention obligations, or legitimate operational necessity.
10. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
BazaarNow may suspend or permanently terminate rider accounts for:
- Fraudulent activity
- GPS manipulation
- Policy violations
- Customer abuse or misconduct
- Intellectual property infringement
- Operational misuse
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
BazaarNow shall not be liable for:
- Loss of earnings or incentives
- Service interruptions
- Network or device failures
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Third-party actions or incidents
The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The BazaarNow - Delivery Partner App is intended only for individuals aged 18 years and above.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This Policy may be updated periodically to reflect legal, operational, or technological changes. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
